Hi,

I would like to know if anyone here can answer me this question. I applied for a student visa online back in April, and on the 9th of May, I got a message on MYCIC page that said my application was transferred to the Detroit Office for processing and they would contact me in due course. I have not heard from them since the 9th of May, and when I inquire by email about my application, they send me a link that says the Detroit office no longer processes student visas, it appears it may have been sent to Los Angeles since I am a resident of Minnesota.

I have emailed Los Angeles multiple times without getting a response, and I am beginning to get worried I may not get my visa in time to start the fall semester beginning in September!

1) Why would will the not respond to my inquiries about not only WHERE my application is, but also address the fact that it is 8 weeks OVERDUE!
2) Does anyone have any other recommendations to make contact to see if I can get an inquiry response?
3) Would it be smart to just send in a new application online for fall semester?

Thanks!
