Hello my name is Helen and i was refused my study permit visa application and the reason given in my letter is stated below:

  • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR based on your purpose of visit .
Please i would like to reapply. could you advise me on the next step of action to take and is ti possible that the refusal was based on not writing a letter?as i did not write one.
Thank you.

Tell us more about your situation. Everybody's situation is unique and there could not be a general answer.
What was your chosen program? What previous education you have? What kind of job experience? What did you write in your POS? What kind of "ties" do you have in your home country?

The program i chose was personal support worker (post grad), i have university degree in mass communications, i work as a flight attendant(cabin crew), and the ties i have with my country is i have a property and i also applied for study leave from my employer. i did not write a personal statement though.

Your planned education in Canada makes no sense in light of your previous work experience and education. I would recommend you pick something else.

Well, nothing in your previous job experience and education corresponds with your intended study.
Property is not a tie (from CIC point of view). You could sell it any time, even being abroad.
Who is your employer? An air flight company? They will expect you- a personal support worker back? Why? They are not a hospital or a nursing home. It is obvious to CIC that you are not going to get any job with them after graduation...
