My application for Canada student visa got rejected because of subsection 16(1), how do I reapply?
Grounds for refusal is
I am not satisfied that you have submitted in support of your application as required by subsection 16(1) of IRPA. Specifically, you have not declared a US visa refusal

Actually, my application for US visa got rejected 3 years before but I forgot to mention that when I apply for the Canadian student visa, please help me to find a solution for this, what are the chances of getting student visa when I reapply? and how do I reapply?

Paste the whole letter - does it say that you will be banned for five years for misrepresentation?

There is no "actually I forgot" when it comes to this aspect of applying for a visa in Canada.

This refers to your application for a student permit to Canada. I have completed my assessment of your application and I have determined that you do not meet the requirements for a student permit; therefore, your application is refused.

In accordance with Section A11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), any person wishing to become a temporary resident of Canada must satisfy an officer that he or she is not inadmissible to Canada and meets the requirements of the Act. This includes the requirement to establish to the satisfaction of the officer that the applicant will respect their conditions of admission and will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for his or her stay.

In reaching a decision, an officer considers several factors; these may include the applicant’s travel and identity documents, reason for travel to Canada, contacts in Canada, financial means for the trip; ties to country of residence (including immigration status, employment and family ties) and whether the applicant would be likely to leave Canada at the end of his/her authorized stay.

Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and the Regulations for the reasons explained below. I am therefore refusing your application.

Grounds for refusal:

I am not satisfied that you have truthfully answered all questions in the documents you have submitted in support of your application, as required by subsection 16(1) of the IRPA. Specifically, you have not declared a US visa refusal.

This application is closed. Please note that any new information you wish to provide must be submitted with a new application and processing fee. Should you wish to reapply, I would suggest that you do so only if your situation has changed substantively or you have significant new information to submit.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no other communication to convey you the decision on this application, this is to be treated as the official intimation regarding our decision on your application.

If you have submitted your original passport to the Visa Application Centre (VAC) with your application, please note that it will be returned to you by the VAC within a few days.

Sincerely,

Consulate General of Canada, Bengaluru

The visa officer was kind to you.

When you apply for a visa, you must declare all visa refusals. Canada checks with other countries - it will be easy to identify when you forget to declare a visa refusal.

To overcome this, you need to ensure you declare all visa refusals and explain why you didn't remember this one this time.

Did it actually say this line:
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no other communication to convey you the decision on this application, this is to be treated as the official intimation regarding our decision on your application.

That is not a standard line in a refusal letter. In particular, the word "intimation" is incorrect and is often used in scam letters from people pretending to be immigration officers. Did you apply using an agent, and the agent forward you the message?

The rest of the letter is standard, but that line is very very strange. I hope that the agency is not hiding anything, especially paragraphs that would say you are banned from ever applying again for five years.

i am depressed what can i do, i think they are hiding other grounds, the agency told me that the reapplied with a apologise letter.

You need the agency to give you all the letters, the original letters. You may be banned for five years.

Do you have an application number you can use to try to check the status online using GCkey?
