If you applied online, you can check the status anytime.

Dear Sir, I am continuously checking my status everyday since I applied. There is no update on the status page. Even I sent one message on IRCC before 7 days, still there is no response to that message also. I would like to ask if I should reapply for the visa or not? Would it make negative marking that I have applied two times for the same visa?

Another thing I want to know that can I contact CIC by any other medium rather than IRCC? Can I go physically to any nearest Canadian Visa office in NY and inquire for my application? I am worried because i am about to miss my May 2016 intake and that would bound me to study here in USA.

Thank you once again for the response.

Well if that's the case then you should really contact the CIC. Try calling the nearest Canadian Visa office first before going there since you've applied online and not by person. And don't apply twice since your first application was already received and on process. Best of luck to you!

And check the college terms and conditions as usually they have a clause where if you cannot get a visa they refund prepaid course fees less an admin fee. Probably too late now for May anyway.

I personally went to the New York office they said, they can not process any online applications please contact LA office. Then after i called at LA office and they said we can not do anything regarding online applications. You must have to wait until update is there. you cannot contact anyone and cannot mail anyone. what should i do? does anyone have contact information for whom to talk for online visa applications? any mail ID or any number? please help me! i am repenting on my online application, I should have posted the in-person application. please help me.

Did you called CIC? or did you got any message from CIC? they are saying that applications submitted after January 18th,2016 will take time around 115 days and applications submitted after April 1, 2016 will take 32 days. Do you think we should withdraw the application and submit it again? because 32 days from today are even less then 115 days from 29th march,2016(my application day). do you have any idea what to do now?

what did you apply for and from where did you apply? and when?
