Dear Friends,

I am planning to apply for Student Visa in December 2016 to start my program in May 2017. Any idea how long is the processing in Trinidad Canada Embassy?

Please advice if there is a delay, website processing time says 2 weeks.

Thanks

Hey gychemist,

My advice is: apply early. It's better to have your permit ahead of time than having to worry at the last minute.

Providing that you submit all the required documents, the processing time is usually correct for the Caribbean (less demand).

In Jamaica it says 5 weeks, but people usually get approved within 3 weeks.

Hope this helps.

If you don;'t mind me asking which University, and program. I am Memorial Uni, PG Food safety. You got ur student visa already?

Sask Polytech, Civil Engineering Technologies.

No visa as yet, I need to submit the new offer letter and I wont be able to until October. That's when the new letters are issued by the college.

So I'm waiting on that.

Thanks and Noted!

I am waiting to hear from my University, they said by next week I will know the outcome of my file.
Have a good weekend.
