Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is planning or already did or thinking about it or have an opinion about it, please share your experience:-

I want to study in Canada for graduate studies not for the knowledge but just to get PGWP, and then from there try to get job and eventually PR either thru PNP or EE.

What are the chances and do you think its a good idea?

well it depends on u. EE is not so kind to international students. if u have masters from ur home country and experience in ur home country directly going for EE would be better as u could save thousands of dollar and not get stuck after spending so much money like some of us. Again u have to decide it for ur self use the CRS calculator if ur points coume out to 450+ ur in a good shape for EE if not ur out of luck. Will things change in the future who knows we are hoping EE scores will go down its all luck.

Create your EE profile and check your scores. Above 400 good score high chances of getting pnp. In my opinion best route is through student, get pgwp and a job and apply for PR.

Hello there., I am in a bit of confusion here. When I applied for student visa my consultant showed 9 months of experience.
But when I came to Canada my employer was being nice and issued me 1 year experience letter, so except for study visa whenever I applied for off campus work permit, pgwp, and work visa I showed that 1 year as I had that experience letter on me.
But now my doubt is when I apply for PR, which experience should I mention. Should it be same as it was in student visa or should I continue mentioning 1 year as I have that letter.
Any suggestions will be helpful please.

435 is not too bad hold tight rather than wasting $20k+ on education just wait and get experience in ur home country scores may drop down to 435 soon. unless u have lots of money and getting education in canada is more important to u.

If you qualify for PNP, go for it.

Study just for PR is a gamble. Policy changes are unpredictable and highly political.

I thought I had a pretty good future for having a job, until I realize they don't recognize non-LMIA job a job.

Very often such strategy ended up in a dish-washing, gas station counter or toilet cleaner in a 4 star hotel. If you want something so easy, stay in your land.
