Student Visa issued with mistake from embassy -Urgent feedback please!

Hello! Hopefully somebody knows how to address this; my sister just received her student Visa for an upcoming winter program starting on January 9th 2023. The issuing embassy (Mexico) clearly made a mistake and labeled the expiry date as the day her program begins (January 9th 2023). Given the short timeframe left and the upcoming holidays, should she make the trip before that date and solve the issue once in Canada? Looking for somebody who has dealt with similar scenarios!!

One can go to Canada 28 earlier from the beginning of the from as it is considered an ample time to settle.
Probably you are reading it wrong. The visa has a travel date restrictions some time as the study permit is granted at the port by the officer.
however, alternatively you can raise a webform to the VO mentioning the details of your misprinted counterfoil !
