Student visa got rejected on april 22,2021 for may intake

Hello everyone
I hope everyone is doing safe and healthy.

I actually need your help.
I applied for student visa in march 2021 and got rejection email April 22 stating the course you are applying is not relevant to your education and you will not leave canada after stay.

But according to my experience I have 11 years of experience in designing field and its a saturation point for growth i opted for business management courses. To upgarde my skills i opted for this why are they saying that it is not relevant.

I applied individually, I’m married and have a kid 2.5 years old still they are saying you will not leave canada. I have shown my travel history of multiple countries.

I have also shown the funds of 10lac + GIC paid.

can any suggest me what points should i take care while reapplying. Shall I reapply or not.Do i need to change the university (I liked the course applied for it is 2 year business management course). I have a defer letter for September intake.

Wondering what 10lac is?????is it 1,000,000 Indian Rupee? Was total fund sufficient to cover tuition fee plus 10,000 living expenses?

Looks like they quickly processed rejection in just a month. The reasons is choice of your program is not relevant to your career progression, address that and its up to you to re-apply or not.

When you say business management courses do you mean a PG or a Masters ? For mature candidates it makes a big difference as PG or a Graduate certificate is considered as an option for freshers and not someone with 11 years of experience. Besides, since you are in a creative field, were you able to demonstrate if you have been doing any business management roles and how doing this course will help enhance your career ?

Get your GCMS notes and see the exact concerns, 'Not going back home' is something they put in all applications. Its just a standard and does not mean much. It all revolves around the core concerns they have.

It's because of your age and experience. You're married. You need a super strong SOP to convince the officer.

Not true at all ! Browse through the forum and you will see candidates with 40+ age have also got their SP.

Why can't you do a business management course in your own country, why do you have to travel all the way to Canada and spend $1000s?

I have 14 years work exp, married , 2 kids ( 4 years and 2 years ) .

I applied for MBA and got my PPR in early April.

By my experience,suggesting you to apply for masters program with a strong SOP which states about your current position in managing people.
How this MBA will help in your career , growth and learning.
How this MBA will boost your career in upcoming years in Canada and how this overall 5 years experience ( 2 year abroad study and 3 years Canadian exp ) will do wonders for you in your own country ( India ) post PGWP.

Hope I am able to put emphasis on strong SOP.
Work on your SOP for at least a week and apply .

It was like 1 year tution fee paid + $cad 10000 + $cad 16000 (show funds)

From india you can apply under student direct stream program which is max 20 days process due to covid it took a month otherwise the results are fast

Post baccalaureate diploma for 2 year in business management

A specialized Masters program like Masters in Management or HR or SCM, or an MBA, makes more sense than a post baccalaureate in business program, for someone who has the years of experience like you do.

with your experience you could be teacher in PG programs in business. so taking pg in business is kinda not convincing for VO especially when you are bringing family with you. proof of funds and other ties to home country can be justified but the hardest reasons to overcome is: your purpose of visit.

because at that point the VO made a strong point in their head: you are not genuine student and u want to get PR indirectly. what you can do now is getting admission to a respectable MBA or high degree in your field. also make a strong and solid SOP that describes how specificific points in that program will further your career. if your motive is only to get better saalry. that is not enough or getting international exposure, that is also not enough. imagine that you are doing your thesis and your need to convince the VO of your arguments.
