Student visa and got hired by an employer with LMIA?

Currently a full time student but got a job offer with LMIA, how to change my study permit to working?

My situation is pretty similar. I'm full-time student right now, but in the private college, so i won't get PGWP. My employer is eligible for LMIA, and he can do it for me. My question is, can i apply for work permit with LMIA from my employer, while i'm still a student?

Yes, you can apply to change your status to worker if you have an approved LMIA.

maybe i got lost. A student can apply for closed WP? Dont you think the study status needs to be given up before applying for closed WP . Please enlighten
