Student visa and arc

Hi I got a 1year exclusion order and I left Canada the last September.
2 weeks ago I applied for an student permit and I get approval but I requested to the officer to apply for an ARC as well and the officer didn't answer. What should I do?

Hi

You are unlikely to be approved for an ARC, as studying in Canada is not a compelling reason to overcome your current inadmissibility.

Thanks for your answer. I'm a little bit confused in the immigration website explain that I don't need to submit 2 different applications, they will consider both and they ask to paid the fee but I got approved and I didn't paid for the ARC as I requested. Doesn't make sense to get the student permit approved without and ARC

I would apply for the ARC separately. You won't be allowed into Canada without the ARC being approved. You should be aware that CIC unfortunately takes their time processing ARCs for 1 year exclusion orders. Chances are that it will be approved around the same time next year as your exclusion order expires.

Thanks for your reply. So I shouldn't submit the application by cic. Cause I thought they process both applications online. How can I submit the ARC, paper-based? Thanks
