Hi
I had applied for visa non sds category on 17 th july 2020.
Biometrics not done yet as vfs offices are closed in India.
My course was on campus, college wanted me to submit my complete visa n arrive in canada. But I have not even received AIP yet.
Ircc sent me to submit ielts score as I had given duolingo. I have booked ielts exam that is on sep 25.
College ppl asked me to change course if u want to continue for this intake so I did.. But there is no news of AIP. Last date of withdrawal Or deferral for the course is 22 sep.
Without AIP anyhow I will have to withdraw
Is it required to inform ircc??
In this situation what to do?
Changing course without AIP is allowed, as I have already done? Will it create any problem in my future application. What should I do now?
Damn confused and stressed.
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.

you need to inform ircc if you changed your course
and you need to to weigh the benefit and the risk to have lectures without aip (even with aip, you still need to think about it anyway)

I have 6 days left for course withdrawal i.e 22 sep is the last date of deferral Or withdrawal without AIP. Is it still required to inform ircc? What should be the best solution?

Withdraw from course and submit the new LOA to IRCC through webform. If possible also attach a letter of explanation to mention the reasons behind changing your program.

If you just want to defer your intake to january 21 then it's not necessary to update IRCC regarding this change. However, in case of withdrawal or change of program you do need to inform them with a proper explanation letter.

The course is not available for next intake. i am planning to withdraw. The letter of explaination should be related to new changed course or old course? And i am planning to apply in some other college for different course. What should be done in such case? How should i inform ircc? Will they reject my current visa?

You can change your program as well as college but you need to properly mention the reasons behind it in your letter of explanation which can be sent through webform. Apart from this your eligibility will be reviewed once again as you have completely changed your profile and no they won't refuse your visa unless the program you have opted for is irrelevant to your current profile.

If u are not loosing big amount of money than withdraw ..defer if they offer u the program for may or September next year if u want to do that ..or change ur program inform ircc with good sop and update new LOA .try to opt for similar kind of course...do not change stream for eg. from business to health care etc

Okay, deferral will lead to my 1 year loss, therefore planning for some other similar course for next intake. Hope this time visa comes on early. IRCC is taking a lot of time for visa.
