Student using visitor visa Philippines to Canada

Hi visitor visa experts,

A basic question > If someone were to apply for visitor visa, I know having a job can help a lot, but what if the person is a full time student with no job? If the person is a student does that make it much harder to get a visitor visa than if they had a job? This is for from Philippines to Canada.

Being a student is better than unemployed and not studying. Having a job would probably improve her chances more. However, if her being a student is a weak point, best thing to do is to focus on all the other stuff like family ties, travel history, financials and assets, etc. Bottom line is you have to prove she will only stay in Canada temporarily.
