I am international student here and my husband is on open work permit but unfortunately i am placed on academic suspension for 12 months. If i will change my status from student to visitor then will it affect my husband’s open work permit or not?

No - your husband's open work permit will not be impacted.

However you should assume it won't be possible to obtain a PGWP - even if you complete your studies.
