Hi, I am a Hong Kong citizen applying for a student permit to Canada. I have previously completed a bachelor degree in economics at the University of British Columbia in 2011. Now, I got accepted into Simon Fraser University to do a second degree in computer science in the coming May 2014.
In my Student Permit application, in the section where I need to put down my previous countries of residence, obviously I need to put down the information about me being in Canada as a student from 2007 to 2011. However, I incorrectly put down 2007 to 2013 (just found out today after I have submitted the application online a week ago). Would CIC reject my application because of this small mistake? I mean, I have put down correct dates for all my work history, which shows that I am actually in Hong Kong the whole time from 2011 to present.
