Hi. I'm a dental medical student in Sudan. I joined recently here to ask and acquire some info. on whether I can have my (MD) on Canada and apply for the passport during the same period of time. This means a I want to do my studies and apply for the passport, but is it possible?
And thanks.

Your question isn't clear. Are you asking if you can apply for a Canadian passport while here on a study permit?

If so, the answer is no. To qualify to apply for a Canadian passport - you must first become a Canadian citizen. And before you can apply to become a Canadian citizen you must first become a permanent resident of Canada.

Once you become a permanent resident of Canada, you must live in Canada for 3 out of 4 years to qualify for citizenship.

If you are a student with no work experience, it is unlikely that you will qualify to apply for permanent residency at this time. You typically need several years of work experience and/or a job offer in Canada.
