My brother got a very late offer from Carleton University for Bachelors of Engineering degree for Fall Sep 2018 intake. Classes start September 5 2018
We are planning to apply under SDD. My dad already got the GIC for 10,000 and paid his entire fees for first year 33,221 and he will get an upfront medical done tomorrow and submit everything online tomorrow evening.
We know it is a little late to apply in time for fall 2018 and there is also a delay in application processing these days but we are still taking the risk. I wanted to hear your thoughts about it and answer to my questions, maybe:
1. How do we know we applied under SDD. I went to the SDD link on CIC site and selected India and continued to apply online but it seems a regular study permit application. Is that the way to go?
2. How do we know we applied under SDD.?
3. Does CIC determine whether we are eligible based on our documents versus we applying to SDD specifically
4. What is the processing time for SDD?
5. The CIC brochure for SDD says we need to upload latest education credential certificate but there is no placeholder opine for the document?
6. What would be better apply though VFS or online? What is faster
