STUCK in Mississauga (My Possible Issue)

Thank you. I should be getting some notes this week that I ordered almost a month ago.
Did you email Mississauga? Or Ottawa?
Apparently Mississauga doesn't have an email. I was told to physically write them s letter.
Which I might do...
I'm going to call my MP tomorrow and discuss the issues with him/ his office.
This isn't normal.

hopefully your MP is helpful! Mine was. I have heard some aren't though

I don't think every American applicant. I think mine was only sent back to Mississauga to get approved for eligibility

Why do you think your application was sent back to Mississauga to get approved for eligibility? Did you receive an email about this? In GCKey my account shows:

Review of Eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Background Check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

What does yours show?

I read in the gcms notes thread that a digital copy of the app is sent back to Mississauga. The person who approves SA also approves the eligibility after the officer at the VO makes a recommendation to do so. Something a long those lines

Hey all...we submitted our appl8cation on 8th march and got our medical done in 10th April and submitted everything else in the same month...however our file is still in transit. We have contacted missisagua call center at lwast 5 to 6 times but everytime we get same response which is our file is in transit and will be transferred soon to our visa office. It's been 5 months now and our application still sits in Canada whereas some other applicants of 2017 have already got their PPR in 5 months. What should we do now? We don't see how to resolve this matter and time is passing just like anything.

That sounds like everyone else who's trapped in Mississauga.

Even still I'm not sure if what I posted above is the issue.

No, we are applying from pakistan and will be transferred to London Visa office

Heard back from my MPs office.
She said they normally wouldn't do anything for someone within the twelve months mark. But since there seems to be confusion with the application. They can submit an inquiry.
Still worried about this potentially pissing off the immigrations office and don't know if we should move forward.

I just got the response back from my MP's office. They didn't hesitate to contact IRCC and I didn't have this issue of app being stuck in Mississauga. I just explained to them that my background check had been in progress since the end of February and that they never sent me a request for fingerprints until I prompted the VO to do so after seeing the request being made ( I think it was through Mississauga office) and the VO never followed up and it was past their due date of April 2, which is why I think my app got stalled with the background check.

It's my opinion that when they try to change the protocol on how things are done, (maybe try and speed things up, ironically) perhaps they don't follow-up with things when file transfer happens, hence the ridiculous delay in processing.
