Thank you for your help. I will try to stop workiing as much as posaible but i cannot just do nothing for the whole time it would take the application process.

If you can't afford to remain here without working illegally, return to your country while you apply.

If you are not able to survive without working then you should return home and be sponsored Outland. It will be clear that you are working illegally if you and your partner are not earning enough to support yourselves. CIC is not stupid. If you want to be approved it is best to start following all the rules now and admit what you have been doing wrong. If you are still not following the rules you can run into problems.

I suppose you are right about that. I might just look into doing that as the safest option. It would be a little difficult on the short term in regards of apartment lease and car and other stuff but might be better in the long run.

Knowing that you didn’t have status in Canada is was very risky option to enter in something like a vehicle lease.

Assume CIC can and will find out everything. There are varying degrees to which things could cause you problems in your PR process, the the biggest thing that will cause you problems is lying to them. I understand needing to work to survive, but if you apply and tell them you've stopped all illegal work, and they find out that you're still working for cash under the table, you've officially committed misrepresentation and can be removed from the country, hit with a 5 year ban from entering Canada, and have fraud on your record with CIC forever which will seriously complicate any future attempts to even come visit Canada. Never lie to CIC.
