This is exactly what I have been saying...we applied for a work permit while hubby had valid TRP and outland application was pending as per what people were saying on here and what CIC site was saying( they changed the rules before hubby's application was reviewed)...the work permit was denied in 2014 and now he has been flagged for the next 8 to 10 years, as per CBSA even though he now has an approved PR and is working and living in Canada....be really careful on the advise here....people can only give you their experience...
