Hi, I'm new here

I'm in quite an odd spot, I'm 31 years of age and was hoping to apply for the International experience visa

Now the problem, I'm a English born person holding a UK passport living in Ireland since I was 13 years of age, so even if I was young enough for the UK version of this visa I don't meet the residency requirements of being in the UK for 3 years

Do any of you guys here know would I be able to apply for the Irish version from Ireland, as I say i have a UK passport but it seems wrong I wouldn't be able to apply for either? I've searched and searched online but can find no answer.

If anybody has a certain answer that would be great

I've looked into this for another person who had a UK passport but was Irish by descent. I believe you have to have an Irish passport, so if you qualify for the Irish passport, you need to get that first.

You don't need to show you normally live in Ireland anymore.

They haven't updated the webpage for 2013 yet, so I guess there's more to come..... oh la la.
