Dear All,

I have a strange situation here so thought of sharing at this forum.

I have applied for Canada PR under Express Entry system. After checking my eligibility at Canada's immigration site I got the report that I'm eligible to apply and was assigned a unique reference number.

My details are as follows:
Education : Masters (WES Checked)
IELTS : 8L 6.5W 7S 7R = 7 overall
Work Exp : 3 year plus.

Now the issue is, upon submitting the application I received the response that I'm ineligible for Express Entry, where as the assessment shows I'm eligible for the same details filled.

I'm not sure whats going wrong and now I'm afraid getting rejected again because I would apply using the same details.

Can anyone kindly guide me over this situation.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Mohit

Have you done the following:

1) If you don't have an LMIA supported job (ticked no 'Valid Job')
2) Completed Jobbank

If no, these 2 need to be done. Ensure your job bank profile is 'Active'

Make sure you are inputting every single field right. If still the same, use the personal reference that is given to you when determining eligibility to create the account.

Thanks for your reply JoacRy.

1) Can you tell me where is this option exaclty, so I can recheck in submitted application ?

2) We can register for job bank only after submitting an Express entry profile. Am I Correct on this, or it can be done simultaneouly ?

So, Is it fine If I create another application and submit again. I mean would submitting multiple wrong applications wouldn't affect my chances ?

Go back to your original application, and look at the 'Work History' section. It's in that section.

I've selected :-

2174 and start date of job in "Occupation"

"No" under "Canadian Certificate of qualification" i.e "Does MOHIT SAPRA have a certificate of qualification from a Canadian province or territory?".

"No" under "Intended Work in Canada" i.e "Does Mohit SApra have a job offer in Canada?"

Specified work history under "Work History" tab.

You can create a job bank account simultaneously, but only after submitting EE profile you can link them. You need EE profile number and job seeker validation code to do that. This will be sent to your my CIC account post submission.

In addition, Check your ECA and IELTS results validity.

I've checked while registering at job bank, but it requires one to be either a canadian resident or have an Expre entry profile number. I don't have any of these at the moment.

My first recommendation is to repeat IELTS. If you can improve Writing score to 7 while retaining others at the same level, you will hit CLB 9. That 0.5 in Writing will cost you an ITA.

I agree with you Asivad Anac, but at the moment, I at least want to submit my profile so that I can register for job bank and meanwhile I would improve my IELTS score.

Done.

Language English = 23 points (CLB 23, IELTS 7)
Education = 23 points (Masters Degree, WES Certified)
Exp = 11 (3 year work exp, 2174 NOC)
Age = 12
Arranged emp = 0
Adaptability = 0
total = 69

Calculation of 69 is correct. Is your IELTS and WES report still valid?

Are you entering the required amount of funds? Are you choosing Primary NOC as 2174?
