Well here we are 16 months in after applying July 2015.
Rome office. Canadian sponsering Italian common law spouse.
We were asked for additional documentation in April 2016, we sent it May 2016 and it was received by the Rome office.
Since we are over the average time (11 months), we sent a request for informtaion....once in September and once in November.
The only repsonse we received was that the application was with an officer for review.
Medicals were received back in February 2016 according to the application status details.
There has been no request for interview or passport.
The lack of information is infuriating and devestating at the same time.
Just looking to see if anyone else is applying through the Rome office and what your experience was?
Thanks so much for your time!
