Still waiting for visa

hi, everyone:
i submited my passport on Dec 25,2011(CIC told me to send passport by VIA Email). Buffalo has received my passport and my wife's application& her passport &her ME report on Jan 1st, 2012. i still haven't got our passports with visa back. it has been more than 6months for procesing. how long do we still need to wait for our visa. usually spouse's application won't need that much time for procesing. someone has any opinion for this situation, thank you for your help.

You are within the usual processing time - essentially adding your wife's to your application is like a new application in itself as they need to run their background checks on her. You made a couple of threads already about this.
