CIC has not yet opened February applications yet, they are now opening January and as such you won't receive anything until they start opening February thats how it works.

CIC opens all applications once received to validate that all the requirements are submitted and correct once they are correct then the application stays there until they start opening/processing that date which your application was received. CIC returns all incomplete applications within 3 to 4 weeks once they received.

It is a matter of waiting really if you applied on 18th and you have not had your application returned which takes about 2 to 3 weeks we are well beyond that then it should be in a pile with a CO. Give it another week the Feb batch AoR is slowly filling up but it does not work on when they received your application, as people in the middle of Feb started getting AoR first, I believe it is in how they arrange the piles once they confirm all necessary documents are available.

Again short story it is too early to worry give it a few more weeks at least

True but based on your timeline, you would have been able to access your e-cas by the end of September if not before.

To gqx: Did you try accessing your e-cas using your UCI?

Hi GQX,

My application was received on 20 Feb 2015 and I haven't had my AOR either. The range of time taken for AOR seems to be highly variable - from as early as 18 days to as late as 37 days after receipt of the application. So, I guess we need not get panic and could wait at least for a week or two. Hopefully, the AOR would arrive by then!

If you haven't done so, please enter your details in the spreadsheet for February 2015 applicants: http://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/187JAQx0cErQzjc1zd4pRndaugMfJWngmVleWXEK5O70/edit?pli=1#gid=0

As you may notice, there are few applicants whose applications were delivered before ours and are still awaiting their AOR. So I guess there is some randomness to the process of sending AORs by CIC and so, we can wait patiently for two more weeks.

Any movement? I am still waiting....

The number of AORs issued recently, this week, has significantly declined compared to the past few weeks. Chances are you might need to wait for a few more days :(

p.s. no AORs were issued for the past 2 days, may be this is due to the bad weather.

No response yet. I am also waiting! Considering ejamal's reply about the slowdown in issuing AORs possibly due to bad weather, I think we can give ourselves few more extra days as we await our AOR.
