Step by step procedure to apply for spousal sponsorship from Mumbai India

Hello Everyone,

I am PR holder living in Canada since November last year. Planning to marry in next few months.

Can you please post link of any forum thread which highlights the step by step procedure to apply for spousal sponsorship in India. My spouse to be is living in India.

I have just started researching the procedure. At this point I am not sure if application has to be filed online (like express entry application) or it is paper based? Is it recommended to go for consultant or it is easy and can be done by ourselves (easy like express entry). Any recommendation for consultant in Mumbai India.

Express entry forum has very nice topics pinned on top; which highlight detailed step by step procedure. These topics are very helpful for someone who has just started research and has no idea about next steps. Hoping to find similar threads here.

The application must be mailed in. There is no option to apply online.

It's really your choice if you use a consultant or do it yourself. Most of us here have done it ourselves.
