Hello my name is Emmanuel, im from mexico, i came to canada as a International student with a Co-work visa, 9 months study 9 months work, i already finished studying and now im working, my visa expires on December.
I want to immigrate here in canada, so i asked my boss about LMO, he said it is ok for him to sponsor me, that i might need to work for him around 2 years, (i think it is a good time) and he has any problem to help me. Anyway he told me i need to have a lawyer or agency to help through all the steps, paperwork and so on, he recommend me a lawyer, and he wants to charge me 4,000$ for everything until i get the PR.
So im wondering, is this price ok? average? or it is a highway robbery?
and my second question is... How long does it take to get PR, if i apply this september 2013.
