How long can u stay outside Canada on PR card? I stayed for about 2 months got PR and travelled but might need to stay outside Canada for longer than 6 months. Is that questionable upon reentry? Is there a contact email I can ask this to reassure from IRCC

As long as you meet the 2 years in 5 years residency obligation the. 6 months is not an issue. From initial landing the most anyone should stay out can be upto 3 years but in doing that would need to stay 2 years without leaving at all. After initial 5 years need to show 730 days in the 5 years preceding each new entry into the country

PR card validity by the way is not relevant to meeting the residency obligation.

No need call anyone, but just make sure you always have your PR card with you else you cannot board a plane back without a card or a PRTD.
