Staying after Visitor Record extension

Hi,
Due to covid situation, I applied twice for Visitor record extension for my mother. Her second Visitor record was approved today and it has a validity upto 31st July 2021. But due to worsening covid situation in her home country we want her to stay 1-2 months more after July in Canada. My question is:
1. If she overstays 1-2 months after her VR validity, could this cause any issue such as reentry to Canada later?
2. We are not thinking of applying for Visitor Record again as they are taking 4-5 months for making decision. She just needs to stay 1-2 months more. In this situation, what can we do?

2. I would apply for an extension to keep her status in Canada legal and avoid issues in the future.

2. If yes, then would it create any issue if she leaves Canada before their decision is made?

Hi Lucky_Rish,
How long did you apply for ?? (6 months both the extensions or for varied periods). I just got the first approval but its valid for 1 more month hence wanted to apply for a 1yr extension.
