Stay canada with valid study permit!

Hi Everybody,
I have a situation that I can not figure out. I am on study permit valid till Dec 15/2018. but my program will be finished by August/2018.
My PR application is currently under processing, done medical last month.
My question is:
Can I stay in Canada even though my program is finishing by August/2018 with my valid study permit?

Yes but you can't work. Also would remain in Canada.

OP can work until they receive written confirmation of program completion.

Hi

Your study permit is automatically invalid 90 days after you finish studying. If your PR app is not going to be approved before that, you need to apply to change your status to visitor before the 90 days is up. As I said above, you can work until you receive written confirmation of program completion.
