Background - If I haven’t heard back about my PR application & BOWP and my current work permit expires, is there any issue with my work pay cycle….

• I leave for a vacation June 1st
• Current work permit expires June 8th
• Return June 11th (without implied status as I left Canada)
• Work pay cycle – I get paid June 20th

Does getting paid into my bank a/c once I’ve lost my worker status cause ANY issues?

You will not be able to enter Canada on June 11th when your WP is expiring on June 8th. You need to have a valid visa to re-enter Canada. To apply for a re-entry visa, you need a valid WP. Hope you understand this point.

I will be able to re-enter as a "visitor" no problem.

Its just that I would get paid for work done before the expiry date after the permit expires due to the company`s pay cycle.

Even if the payroll run is after your WP expiry date, will your employer not consider the working days in that period and process the payroll accordingly?

Correct but as I stated in the initial post - Would there be any issues getting paid after the expiry of the work permit?
Would there be any "red flags" down the line?

You are legally not eligible to work once your WP expires (unless you are on implied status)...so why do you want to even get paid for the period which you were not supposed to work legally?

PAID for work done up until June 8th on June 20th

ANY issues with that?

From a visa exempt country - can return as a visitor/tourist.

Yea u will surely get paid for your work done and it doesn't matter if you had ur valid work permit then or no.
You worked for those days and hence you are entitled to be paid. NO worries on that. CIC wont know about it even if they do they wont say anything.
But your problem is that you wont be on implied status, nor do u have a multiple entry visa stamp (im guessing)
How are you going to enter into Canada, ... its not like india where u can give 20$ to one of the clumsy money eating immigration officer :P

Ya, I wont be able to work obviously so might only inform work after I return to see if they might have to pay me my "2 weeks notice period" :P

Would be nice to get some extra $$ into my a/c while I was away for a bit!
