There were such cases, but your counterfoil would most likely be deactivated to prevent your travel to Canada. It should be activated as soon as your DLI is on the list

Hopefully I receive PPR next and not refusal though

Only a few people who applied early March got PPRs regardless of their DLI in approved list.
