Is a good sign. Try to log on cic client status by using receipt number try what do you get. Try on ecas .

Thank you for the reply. i am still waiting for the letter , will try to log it on later and see what is the status. Thanks again, we are so exciting as he is just two and half years old and we have been separated for half years already. We are both in Canada and he is living with my parent in Hong Kong. We really hope to bring him here asap as we are missing him so so much.

You can log without client no . Tr with your receipt no. Receipt no is payment slip no.

They said " Receipt Number (IMM 5401) should be in this format: B000000000. " And my receipt numbr is start at "R". And I did try my client no. The comment is same as before. Please see attached. thanks.

Given that it's your son, I can't imagine it being anything but good! Congrats!

lol... m realy sory..i was in hurry ..

I finally received the letter from CPC. They said

" We are pleased to advise that you have met the reuirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly the undertaking and the Application for Permanent Residence have been forwarded to the Visa Office in HONG KONG for further processing."

My question is
1. What are we waiting for?
2. What is the next document we will get?
3. Can I bring my son to Canada right now?

Thank you.

You are waiting for an Immigration officer to process your son's file after ensuring he is admissible. As he is an infant, this will not take very long, there are no security checks or background checks of substance for a two year old.

The next documents should hopefully be a request for his passport.

He is visa-exempt, you should be able to bring him to visit. You will need to return his passport when they are ready to issue his PR visa.

My son is living with parent in Hong Kong right now, and we are actually holding his passport. Should I mail his passport back to my parent as the Visa office need it? Kindly advise.

Hold it until the visa office advises you to send it.
