Dear altruists,
I am currently pursuing my 3rd year of PhD (RA + TA). I am applying visit visa for my wife through the IRCC new portal (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...visitors/visa/portal-application-process.html). Now, in one stage of the application process, my wife needs to fill the information for his spouse. IRCC wants the present job status. There is no option for international student and I am confused which option I should pick. Among all the options (attached the image) two could be fit with my status:
(1) Education, law, gov service occupations
(2) Unemployed
Since, I am working as a Research Assistant and I worked four times as Teaching Assistant, the Education occupation may go. I am not fully Unemployed, right?
So, I want help in this case. Waiting for responses in this regard.
