Status in country of residence

Anyone here applying from the Middle East? For a foreign worker with a work visa and residence permit in the Middle East, what do we indicate as our status in the country of residence in the IMM 0008-Generic form ? Also, what is the status we should put down for our dependents?

I am not applying from the Middle East but I believe it should be your Visa Status on your passport; Visitor, dependent, student, etc.

I wrote Residence Permit... Since the letter I received with list of documents to be submitted states that

" If you live in a country other than your country of nationality, include a copy of your residence permit."

I wrote No Social Status.

You must have a title in the country of residence if you are there legally. Write that.

like in my country i am having work permit issued by government. so i write work permit
