Just out of curiousity, if i get marry whilse my application is in process will it lessen my chances of getting PR ?

No it wont ,but make sure you communicate the status change to CIC asap.... so that ur application is not delayed for long..

It will delay your PR for a short while. Apart from that additional security, criminal and medical checks will need to be done for your spouse.

Yes,CIC will request for spouse documents when you will inform about status change.
