My status got changed to "In process" on Apr 7, 2010 on cic website.....is there anyone like me whose status got changed to "In process" on or after Apr 7, 2010 and has got the medical request?

My status changed to " In process "on May 5th'10 [Los Angeles Visa office]..... I think we should wait for d nxt step.

Our's is showing in process since Feb'08 . (South Africa) This is so frustraing, feels like it takes for ever, especially if you want something so badly. All my family lives in Canada.

Mine is changed on 12th April 10(New Delhi). no news/ Verification call. nothing.
all march applicants having the same problem.

any way pl. update if you get any news/call.

Looks like we have quite a few app which are transffered to diff satelite centers around US.
Lets share our time line after app is transfeered...i mean we will post here after every milestone..

App Transferred-->In Process--> Medical request-->RPPF--> PP Request-->> Visa Iss

Hi friends,
Is it normal that the status on eCAS is mentioned as "IN PROCESS" the same day that you receive the new file number (I mean the file number which is given by Visa Office when they confirm the receipt of your full documents)?
Because when i check my e-CAS, it says my application is in process on the same date that I was given new file number!??
Is it Normal?

Can you explain what is this new file number..?

My file is with Buffalo and I have recently submitted my meds(e-cas status chand to in-process on april 21st)..However I never recd. any new file number..

Please help clarify

Actually my file was transferred to a new visa office, where they gave me a new file number. Now that I check my eCAS with it, the only update which is listed there is IN PROCESS.
