Hi,
I am planning to start EE application. My IELTS scores are as follows: L-7, R-6.5, W-6, S-7.5. It was my 1st trial. Would you recommend me to submit an application and meanwhile, when I have to wait for the invitation, to take another exam or first to improve the results and then to submit an application? With the sores above our sore I and spouse) is 431.
thanks

Creating an EE profile doesn't hurt. You can update it, however, 431 is pretty low yet, especially recently. Creating an EE profile is not an application, so you are definitely free to do it. You both should improve your IELTS, that can give you many extra points if you reach CLB9.

Good luck!

Thanks. So our CLB is 8?
So I can create an application and submit it and before having a chance to receive invitation can update IELTS results or I have to crate another EE account and to submit new one and to delet older one?
Thanks

Then I would create an account and then will try to improve my IELTS scores. Is it correct info that invitation can be received when the score is above 400 or it is older info?

I think you're getting a bit confused.

You need a score of 400 in order to get an invitation to apply for Ontario Provincial Nomination.

In order to get an Invitation to Apply for PR (an ITA), your score must be higher than the cutoff score for that draw. The cutoff for the last draw was 482.

If your have an eligible EE profile you can get an invitation if your CRS score is not lower than the cut-off score in the actual draw. It keeps changing. So far, the lowest ever point was 450, if I'm not mistaken. Recently it was over 480, so your scores will be improved for sure. Express Entry draws happen every second Wednesday. We had one yesterday.

You can check your CLB here:

Thanks. It is getting more clear to me.
What is Ontario Provincial Nomination for. In my EE account I actually selected Ontario, although I am not sure if it is OK in terms of competitiveness. Should I apply for Ontario Provincial Nomination?

Check this out:

Every province has it's owns provincial nominee system with different rules. If you are willing to live in other provinces as well, you should select more. Read all the details...
