Start-up viza for entrepreneur starts April 2013

Can anyone here guess what will be basic requirement for Start-up visa besides..language and educational qualification.
Like fund requirement, project plan on paper or any kind of tie-up with NACO or another agency.
Principal applicant back ground like business experience or Job experience, letter of references...etc...

It's probably reasonable to expect the funds will be similar to before. The previous rules were that you must have a net worth of at least $1.6 million and be able to invest $800K in Canada.

Actually I doubt that funds will play much of a factor, since there will be Canadian investors in the proposed projects.

"As a way to help these in-demand entrepreneurs fulfil their potential and maximize their impact on the Canadian labour market, they will require the support of a Canadian angel investor group or venture capital fund before they can apply to the Start-Up Visa Program. Initially, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will collaborate with two umbrella groups: Canada’s Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) and the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO). These groups will identify which members of their associations will be eligible to participate in the Program. CIC is also working with the Canadian Association of Business Incubation to include business incubators in the list of eligible organizations as soon as feasible."

I agree with PMM member, fund will not play imp role......According to me much important is Individual capability to set a new and innovative business which benifits Canadian economy and create job for Canadian or PR individual....

Another expectation is ....it must have more weightage on Individual achievement credential in their past job or business. How sucessfully they have monitored their past buss or job and HOW efficiently they can manage new one when they arrive in Canada.

This is not as easy as it sounds. For Start up visa, you need a Start up and that too with backup on Canadian VCs.

You are true...its not thtat easy...but can anyone say what kind of preparation one should do ?
What kind of business one can start there OR there is any list of Businesses that come under designated agencies.?
