My husband and I have been waiting (outland in the US) since May 2014 for his PR application to go through. Last week (March 27th, 2015) it changed from Application received (May 15th, 2014) to in Progress.
What seems to be the average wait time after this change until there is a decision made? We have already submitted extra information that was requested in the fall, and also have the medical results sent in.
Also, does there seem to be an average amount of time given after the visa is approved until he must land in Canada? I have heard it expires on the same date the medical results are received, but that also may not be entirely accurate these days.
Any help or insight would be great! Gonna have to let our American employers know whats up!
