stamping at Rainbow bridge niagara?

Hi ,

I have got my PR approved, I need to know that at US and CANADA border do they stamp canadian PR.
or they have stopped doing it.

You can go to rainbow bridge but AFAIK they only accept people on Tuesdays to Thursday and if you do not arrive early then they will tell to you come back some other day.
