Hi everyone,

I have one or two stamps is not clear, i know the date (you can read it hardly)

what should i do in this situation?
CIC didn't ask for the translation of my passport, but want to be ready

thoughts ?

I had the same problem
when I gave my passport to YMCA to translate some dates weren't clear .they asked me for exact date and they trusted me for what I said and translated it.

Be careful about YMCA translation. Please make sure it is ATIO approved translator otherwise, the officer might not accept it.

Is the right process to seek an ATIO when the entry/exit stamps are in English but not clear? I am thinking ATIO or similar recognized translator should be referred when a translation is required from foreign to English language. Shouldn't CBSA records be referred in case stamps are not clear?

my case is the stamp in Arabic and it not clear ...
Ok. That's a fair call for an ATIO.

Does any one recommend when the stamps entered in English are not clear? Example - Stamp is faded or ink spread, etc.

If stamps are in english and faded then it depends on officer. I dont think written from ymca helps. I had to translate my stamps and location of one stamps was faded so translator said illegible
