Dear All,

I would like to know how long does it take from NA2 to the next stages. If anyone could provide some details on this or share any previous discussion thread(s).

Hi, how did you know your PR card got approved? Does it show up on your MyCIC account?

Yes, I linked my PR card application to MyCIC and so I saw the status of my application and noticed the day when it got approved.

Here's my full PR card timeline:

Landed: September 23, 2017
Review of additional documents changed to "The additional documents you provided are being reviewed": November 8, 2017
(New photo request: Not needed)
PR card approved: November 14, 2017

Thanks Anfrod. I assume you obtained the details of your PR Card for linking when you landed which also triggered the start of the Card application?

No, anybody can link it (it doesn't work for some people though). Once you have COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) in your hand after landing (better like 5 days after landing), link it in MyCIC and you can see it...

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I understand, you get the details from the CoPR and once you land you can assume the PR Card application is started and wait for a bit before linking it.

How did you manage to get your card delivered so quickly?

Hi Anford,
Can you please explain the steps on how to link you CoPR to your Mycic account? Thank you.
1. Sign In to your MyCIC account
2. On the main page under "Link an existing application to this account" click on "Link application to this account"
3. As a category, choose "Permanent Residency Card" and then simply follow the instructions

(date when you become permanent resident is the day when you landed/did flagpole).

I don't think it was that quick o_O The official website says it takes up to 61 days to deliver, mine arrived in 58 days... so only 3 days before their "deadline".

Oh yes, sorry you are correct.
