Sorry, if this topic has been covered before. I looked but didn't find anything (although my search skills may be compromised by my anxiety) and want to know what they have been doing lately.

Do they send SA approval by mail or email?

They have my email address and the sponsor is currently residing outside of Canada.

Thanks!

Thanks!

They should send it by email.

Everyone gets it by email??? 100% of the time?

It's hard to say, since those that have received their letters from CIC, indicating that their files have been transferred to CPC-M, states:
"Once processing is complete, that office will notify you by mail of their decision."

It seems like everyone got an email and when I logged on to check today it said a decision has been made and a letter sent to me and that I should consider any delays in the mail being delivered. So I immediately thought - OMG they only send approvals by email and if they deny you for sponsorship they send you a letter in the mail.....
And the mail hasn't come today (Friday) so now I'm just going to stress all weekend....

Do they send rejections by mail? (I didn't want to say it out loud before....)

Ahhh!

PS - thanks for the responses so far...

If you included an email address in app, stage 1 AOR and approval should both go to email. The actual approval letter is attached as a pdf file.

Sometimes they put a typo in the email address, or email gets filtered to people's junk mail.

Call CIC to ask and they can confirm status and how they sent correspondence.

A lot of ppl have been getting their SA's this year via snail mail even if they have indicated an email address in their applications.

Thanks Aniabella. That makes me feel a little bit better. :)

Yup, happened to us. Kinda stressful, but was never a reason to think there would be a denial. Did not forget to include email address.

Happened to us too, though we got AOR by email. Just curious, for anyone who got theirs by snail mail, was it from "Officer JDC"? Trying to see if perhaps this particular officer prefers this method. lol :D

It took 1 week to get here but finally got the letter with SA!

Yay!

I couldn't understand why I got AOR with an email and SA by regular mail.

Our letter was from officer AV.
