Hi, My husband was told ( by a lawyer) that he is eligible for self-employed status permanent residency due to his international work & stance as an artist although he is right at the age limit. I have reason to believe this lawyer, his background check shows he could be dependable. My question is could my son apply for OSAP in Ontario with stage 1 approval as he has received a number offers form Canadian universities? In that case, how long has the stage 1 approval taken recently? Thanks in advance and good luck to all those reading this post.
