Initial application to CIO on 10th Feb 2010
File transfer to NDVO on March 30th 2010
Real Inprocess since Jan 24th 2012

Today, I got response to CSQ sent last month. The main points are as under:

1. Please note that processing has already begun on this application and it is currently awaiting further review.

2. Unless we have specifically asked the applicant to do so, he/she is not required to submit any additional documents at this time which are not listed in the Document Checklist (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf). Please note that our office will contact the applicant to provide the additional supporting documentation if it is required for the further assessment of the application, including medical examination instructions.

3. Although processing of this application has already begun, finalization may not occur until the end of 2012/or after 2012.

4. Please note that if the applicant wishes to withdraw the application, the applicant is not eligible for a refund of the processing fees at this stage as processing of the file has begun.

5. Applications in the Skilled Worker category are processed in order of receipt. The application is being processed in accordance with its place in the queue, based on the date on which the application and fee payment were received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
6. Since the application is still within normal processing times, we are not able to provide any status updates.

The VO has clarified that they are processing files in order of receipt of application at CIC Canada. This confirms that 1st AOR is relevant and not 2nd AOR

Dear Mehul Jee ! Thanks for sharing. It seems like a old generic reply from CHC. Anyways wish u luck for finalisation of your file in 2012 itself.

Kind regards

Lubob

Thanks Lubob. I wish not only me but all eligible pre-juners get maple leaf within 2012 itself.

for ur MR
HOPE this will bring light to other prejune cases.

Asking for updated POF is a std procedure,
When you applied the exchange rate was in range of 43-45 INR per a CAD, and now its 54-55 INR per a CAD.

So eventhough you may have showed sufficient balance than, they will ask for it again due to changes in exchange rate.

Hi
I am a newly registered user at this site and would like to share my case info with others here. Any feedback by experts would be appreciated.

Here is what my case looks like:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 15, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 3, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June 8, 2012.

I have an HRSDC approved arranged employment as well. Any idea if they give any priority? What could be the next step and timeframe?

You are right . When we apply the rate was almost 45 Rs -1 CAD and now the rate is 54 Rs- 1 CAD so Defo they will ask updated proof of Funds.
