Now I feel somewhat guilty.

Dear unni & Manonthemove,

My intention was not to emphasize solely on "language requirement", it was just an example given by me.

Things may be alltogether different ... we will come to know only after MI-4.

You should not panic just by reading anybody's comments, but analyze the things yourself. No one here is expert on immigration. We are just discussing the situation as it appears to us.

Hey lokoloko0,

every day i wait for your post where you will give us good news of Medicals. because you are among the first ones to go in process. today when i saw your post, i thought the good news has come, but you posted something else..........

anyways, guys dont worry about all these statements etc. .........beleive me canada PR is very near to all of us..........

Hello Friends,

Please don’t get panic on the Minister Speech.

All the VO are 100% occupied with backlogs, pre June and new applications processing, as far as I know most of the pre June applications eligibility review was already calculated including language points.
In VO or ECU no one have time to re-review or reprocess our applications so all the Pre June applications with processing date are out of danger. Rest of the applications I can’t comment.

Don't wanna create panic but please check the reply 212 by Canadian dreams in the link mentioned below.

You may need to panic if your IELTS score is particularly low.

If you are already in process since jan/feb/march than maybe we all are safe and already cleared the IELTS barrier.

Subject: ECU - E000000XXXX - My Name

Unless we specificely ask , please do not furnish any documents. Our office will contact to provide additional documents when required for further assessment, including medical examination instructions. (This part is Bold in reply).

If applied after 27-Feb-2008 & before 26-June-2010, processing of application is likely to begin before July 2012, however finalization may not occur until 2012 end/or after 2012 (after 2012 is 2013/2014/2015........ so on)

Dear Canadian Dreams,

The above points (if they are exactly as mentioned in the original reply), are in fact very encouraging.

Please confirm if.....

1. The email reply has come from ECU? (ECU mentioned in the subject line?)
2. Did they mention about medical instructions in bold?
3. Did they actually mentioned "likely to begin before July 2012"... "finalization may not occur until 2012 end/or after 2012"

please let us know their exact words regardng the above 3 points.
Thanks a lot.
+1 for you

If Canadian Dreams has mentioned the exact wordings from CHC reply in the above 3 points, it makes me feel good, because:

....it assures that ECU is at present taking care of our files (in process), and will be responsible for requesting medicals as instructed by IO in CAIPS. (hoping immigration officer is higher in rank than ECU)

....it also indicates that we may see some medicals by July-Aug (at last!) so that those cases wil be finalized by the end of 2012

Hello all

I also got following update
**
In PROCESS

We received your application for permanent residence on April 20, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 20, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 20, 2012.
**
But no letter received as of today.

Is it a good sign?

Yes Buddy for these vital points I have written exactly what CHC ND wrote in their reply to my CSQ letter,

1. The reply is having Subject Line as ECU <My File Number> <My Name>
2. Yes Medical Instructions are in BOLD that is why I specificely mentioned this. "including medical examination instructions"
3. Yes it is written exactly like this "..... processing of application is likely to begin before July 2012, however finalization may not occur until the end of 2012/or after 2012."

Thanks.
