Lokoloko...observation seems plausible.

For instance..CHC has asked for PCC of my elder son who turned 18 Nov 2011.

I feel all this ( as I mentioned to DBC) is to show that processing / checking of docs is in progress BUT ALSO to gain time by CHC.Now the applicant cannot withdraw his / her application because one would be under the impression that MR ...etc...will shortly be on the way.Waiting...waiting...may take upto 6 - 8 months. One has no choice but to hope that everything goes well.

And if CHC rejects any case (God forbid) ..all plans down the drain.

@all,

i send an enquiry to chc -DELHI office regarding address change on 23-feb-2012, yesterday i got this reply.
Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Information regarding change of address has been updated on your application.Your application has now been reviewed by a visa officer.

Unless we have specifically asked you to do so, you are not required to submit any documentation at this time. Our office will contact you to provide any additional supporting documentation for the assessment of your application.

If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after 27 February 2008 and before 26 June 2010, processing of your application is likely to begin in 2012; however, finalization may not occur until after 2012.

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between 27 February 2008 and 25 June 2010) than originally projected. During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision. This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011.

Applications in the Skilled Worker category are processed in order of receipt. Your application forms and fees guarantee your place in the processing queue. Your file is being processed in accordance with its place in the queue, based on the date on which the application and fee payment were received in our office

Until we contact you, the only information you are required to provide us in order to update your application is:

- Change of address or contact information, including email address

- Change in your family composition
- Request to withdraw your application and refund the application fees
- Submission of an Arranged Employment Opinion approved by Human Resources and Social Development Canada
- Change to your representation

If you wish to engage, change, or revoke a paid representative, the form IMM 5476 Use of a Representative, available at this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/representative.asp, must be completed and signed by you then sent to our office. In all correspondence with our office, remember to quote your file number, full name, and date of birth.

Processing times to finalization may vary depending on the number of new applications received and the individual complexity of each application. Applicants can check the status of their case on the CIC website by clicking on Client Application Status. Looks like NDVO is buying more time, replies like these are disheartening :(

Dear Manonthemove,

I got the same reply before one month and same day My status was in process with processing date. This is standard reply they sent it to all the applicant. No needs to Worry. Every case is different and their time line and processing time can be different also.

So wait and Hope for the Best

Thanks Jignesh and Sidhsaab, I want to agree with you both. However my concern is many people in the above spreadsheet got "In Process" as early as 10th Jan2012 but still no news of MR yet, any thoughts on this point please?

Don't worry, it will be sooner than later.
Buffalo and London Visa office only issues MR first.
After medicals rprf and passport is requested later.
Whereas New Delhi issues all things together thus saving time later.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Friends,

In reply to CSQ sent in Nov-11, I received a standard reply stating that "If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after 27 February 2008 and before 26 June 2010, your application is not likely to be processed in 2012." The reply received in Dec-11.

In reply to another CSQ sent in Jan-12, I received following reply in Feb-12.

"Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be advised accordingly.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Immigration Section / Section de l’immigration - 9

This means that they acknowledged the fact of my file being "In Process". My case turned to real in-process on 30-01-2012. So, for applicants having "In Process Date" NDVO is sending specific reply to CSQ. This is my observation. What others say?

Thanks Nano, not sure about Buffalo and LDVO, but will go with what you are saying. Any guesstimates as to when NDVO will start issuing MR's to Prejuners?

Check this link for Pak applicants to London.
Their medicals and passport request are different, some months apart.
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/join-list-of-pakistani-residents-after-1-april-2010-chc-london-t48848.6030.html

Going by the way post june and the earlier Pre june were processed, some of us would be receiving medicals.
As we are not, I cannot say anything now.
But I am optimistic that most of us would receive by fall.

I wished it was summer, so it would be easier for us to settle.

None of us were expecting going in process so soon(at least not me), so maybe we'll get medicals soon too.

The good thing about NDVO is that it has not asked updated documents from applicants that SGVO is asking to. Only few people have been asked to send in some documents.

@ mehulca,

I don't know about other visa offices, but NDVO is not trustworthy. So whatever is written in their mail should be taken with a grain of salt.
I'll give you my example.

I got married in Dec 2011. I informed NDVO, in early January, via case specific inquiry that I got married, and I shall send them updated documents as soon as my paper work is through.
They replied some 20 days back, that we cannot make changes in your application as we need your signature. So send a fax copy or letter.
I sent faxed them a copy in early Feb.
Their reply came in email and they gave me instructions as to what forms and documents to submit.
In that email it was clearly mentioned that i need to submit 2 passport size photo of my spouse and some wedding photographs, Nothing was written about sending education certificates, job letters, etc

It so happened that my husband who is in Canada sent his forms and certificates via courier, but it got delayed. So i sent a mail that I already faxed them this information, but sending in forms will get delayed as they are in transit.
So they reply the same thing again, but the documents needed were different,
4 passport size photo and pre, post and wedding photographs,
I received this mail when I already sent in the documents.

What I concluded with this episode is that NDVO does not read our email.

BTW I had sent all documents, and 6 set of photos, so I was good with it.

Just to update you on my observation on Pre-June, 2010 applications

Stage 1: Nearly Completed
CHC is already determined (Accept or Reject) on all the Pre-June, 2010 applications
• Eligible for Medicals (List is ready)
• Rejections (letters already sent to respective applicants)
• Clarification (Need updated documents or additional supporting documents)
• Identified applicants for Interviews
Meanwhile they may prepare list of all the successful applicants and compare with the this year quota for Pre June(This is for entire CIC).

Stage2: March to June, 2012
• Issue additional or updated document request
• Issue Medicals, Fee and PPR
• Invite for Interview (If required)

(July to Oct, 2012 CHC will be busy with New application.)

Stage3: Nov to March, 2013
• Issue Visas
Could you please share the source of all this info.

I think NDVO has given prejune applicants a lollipop of in process as its almost 2 months since few of the applicants went into in process and no medical till now.

To SandySurrey

Still we can't say anything that weather NDVO has given prejune applicant a lollipop or not.!!!!

Generally it takes 2-3 month to get MR after In process. so it will be more clear in the month of May weather they given any lillipop or they are seriously working faster to reduce the backlog.

Mate , I have doubt about medicals coming out this month, even if the medical comes I think they will take whole year to process applications .

I pray whatever am predicting proves wrong and CHC Delhi starts issuing Medical PPR to pre June's
