Hi,
I have applied under SPP category, for September 2016 intake for Centennial College for Strategic Management - Accounting course.
My profile is:-
10th Std - 84%
12th Std - 82%
Bcom - 75%

Bcom completed in 2011. Have been pursuing Chartered Accountancy since then and have completed the intermediate level. Also have work experience in a finance firm of almost 2 years.
My IELTS Score is band 8 with no band less than 7

My SPP visa got rejected because- "Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans"

I don't know what to do! I really want to make this work and go to Canada this September 2016.

Please help!!

I have applied for a Post Graduate Certificate Program.
That's the qualification I'll get post the course

Can I reapply?
If yes, then in which category? and what are the chances of the reapplication to get accepted?

Well, I'm not an experienced one. But, best of my knowledge, after completing 12th standard you do not have to apply for 10th exam, just like this; you have already passed out your C.A intermediate exam. So, I think, you should have applied for any master course like MBA in Finance or accountancy or else. Your IELTS band score is very good, you have a good experience and your academic seems also good. Then, you could easily get any university master course. And yes, a powerful statement of purpose can enhance possibilities of visa approval. Perhaps, I have wrong assumption in your case, but, you can contact any visa consultant. And yes, you can definitely reapply.

GOOD LUCK.

Thanks for you reply!

The thing is that I come for a very humble background and doing a Masters course is very expensive for me at the moment. But I would want to do it later on in life out there in Canada itself.

Other than that, the course which I am opting for, Strategic Management - Accounting, is a specialized course focusing on accounting aspects. Doing that course would help me progress my career in Canada itself.

I am really hopeful for the visa and was pretty confident about getting it in the first go itself as was having strong academics and an even stronger IELTS score.

But got the refusal for the above mentioned reason.

My sole hope is a reapplication and doing that with a strong SOP.

If you or any of you'll reading the post has any suggestions about how to address the reasons for refusal in my SOP or any other suggestions in general for reapplication, then please advice. I'll be filing my revised application day after tomorrow, so you'll can suggest anything till then.

THANKS A LOT.
