Me and my husband both have open work permits in Canada. Our work permits are expiring on May 2018. I am applying for a study permit and with that I am applying for my husband's open work permit.
My husband's currently has postgraduate work permit. I came to Canada as a visitor and received my work permit (spouse work permit).
Basically we are reversing our situation to extend our stay in Canada. Up till now I had a spouse work permit based on my husband's postgraduate work permit and now my husband is going to get open work permit based on my study permit.
I Know all this sounds very confusing, and that is the reason why I am looking for some good advice. Please let me know if this looks like a possible option to you? Which forms do I need to submit? Which documents I need? Which application form do I need submit? A form to change conditions to remain in canada or a form to get open work permit for spouse?
I'll appreciate any help that I can get from this forum.
