Can you call your wife here? Yes, you can.
Can she get a work permit? Probably not.
Applying a workpermit here withou any education experience in Canada is tricky. My friends's wife come here with a visitor visa and fail to find a job without a work permit (apprently it's llegal but some ppl still manage to work without a permit at random fast food restaurants) she latter applied for a colledge in London and she's in school now. I wish there would be an easy way, would like to here other ppl's suggestion. Good Luck
